Former Ipswich Town Football Club Academy Coach with experience developing players from as young as 6 through to 18.

My name is Simon Jackson. I’ve been involved in Youth Football development for over 20 years and am currently working in the Youth Development Phase for Norwich City Football Club Academy, having transitioned from Ipswich Town Football Club Academy in the summer of 2024.
Football is my passion, and I have spent the last two decades coaching and developing children of all abilities. Football can be challenging at times, but through my experience, I have learned how to break down barriers and build strong relationships to help players and teams achieve their full potential.
I am a UEFA A Licensed football coach and am honored to hold the Full FA Youth Award.
If you’re a team looking to improve, a player seeking to develop, or would like to attend one of my weekly courses, I would be delighted to help.

SJ Football coaching provides support locally to grassroots teams and coaches in order to help develop the players within the team environment. This also enables grassroots coaches to gain a valuable insight to the planning and delivery of elite level training sessions.
1-2-1 Training
1-2-1 Training
SJ Football Coaching provides 1-2-1 training for boys and girls from the Foundation Phase up to the Professional development phase ages groups. Sessions are designed and tailored to meet the needs of the individual. Simon has a growing base of clients ranging from grass roots footballers to Premier league academy players.

Holiday Soccer Schools
SJ Coaching provides Soccer Schools throughout term time but also throughout the half term and summer holidays.
£25 per child per day
Players will experience a fun filled day with lots of technical and game related activities.
Players will each receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the day.
